Looking Forward With A Generous Heart

We are delighted to again be among the sponsors for the Lev Nadiv Gala where Rudlin Torah Academy (RTA) will present the 2015 Chesed Award and the Above and Beyond the Call of Duty (ABCD) Award on May 31.

The recognition of our friends Ellen Renee Adams and Rebecca Kalman-Winston with the Chesed and ABCD Awards, respectively, is especially exciting. We know that a deep, personal commitment to the Richmond Jewish community, and to Jewish education, has been a hallmark of their careers.

We’re also looking forward to the keynote address from David Krohn, a Juilliard-trained opera baritone originally from Hampton Roads and now the Associate Director of Development at the Houston Grand Opera. He has performed with the New York Philharmonic at Carnegie Hall and numerous opera companies. He will bring his love of opera and Yiddish music to Richmond and also talk about the importance of his Jewish education and how it has influenced him as he has performed around the world.

GreeneHurlocker has long been a proud supporter of RTA, which is Richmond’s only Jewish day school. RTA provides exceptional general and Judaic education to students in grades K-8. RTA’s students consistently score in the highest percentiles in standardized testing and, in the past 12 years, at least 95% of RTA’s 8th graders that have applied to the area’s most selective leadership or Governor’s high schools have been accepted. For more about RTA, please visit the school’s website, www.rudlin.com.

We hope you will make plans to join us at this year’s Lev Nadiv Gala, which is Hebrew for “generous heart.” Contact RTA at 804-353-1110 for full dinner details!
